A: I have bipolar as well and I know several others who also haveit. The surgery will not make this disappear. You will alwayshave bipolar and the obsessive disorder. However your diabetesmay go. I was diagnoised with bipolar two years before mysurgery. I had my surgery Aug 97 and I still take meds formy surgery. Yes I feel better about my weight and health.
