Q:
Pressure in head/anxiety and shakiness/coordination issues
A: I would see your doctor and emphasize that you feel the pressure on the back of your head and that your coordination is off. That sounds like something that needs further diagnostics, such as a CAT scan or MRI. Best, Del...

Q:
What Is a Wellness Coordinator?
A: A wellness coordinator organizes and directs programs, people, and activities to achieve the goal of the best mental and physical health possible. Her scope may be relatively small and involve only the employees of a company or department. In other cases, her range of influence may cover an entire community, town, or city. In either case, the ability to educate and inspire people to recognize the rewards of good health and work toward achieving those goals is vital to the success of a wellness coordinator. The position involves extensive research and analysis of the target community. Before developing definitive programs or setting hard and fast goals, a wellness coordinator should assess the overall physical and mental health of the people involved. She then develops several general plans...

Q:
What Is Developmental coordination Disorder?
A: Developmental coordination disorder is a condition in which a person of normal intelligence and physical development has trouble performing motor skills that require coordination, like running or catching a ball. This condition typically begins during childhood and continues into adulthood. A person with the disorder usually simply appears clumsy or unskilled at physical activity, but he or she does not have the motor skill development to improve, even with practice. An infant with the condition may have difficulty coordinating his or her mouth to suck on a...

Q:
swallowing issues in 17 mos old
A: Hi, again,
Your info has been very helpful.
Just to clarify, penetration is the entrance of material above the vocal cords, and aspiration is when material goes below the level of the vocal cords and into the trachea.
The easy way to thickening juices? Buy Kern"s nectar-- it"s already done for you. Pectin may work, but I haven"t tried it. It"s OK to use commercial thickener, as it is a carbohydrate food product. If you have dietary restrictions because of religious beliefs, it does not contain gelatin or milk products, so you"d be OK. As far as blood sugar problems go, the exchange value is on the can.
You"ll have to desensitize your son as far as the cold liquid intake goes. Gradually introduce colder and colder material. Start with his favorite foods; if he likes applesauce,...

Q:
What Are the Most Common Childhood Development issues?
A: Each child develops at his or her own pace, but there are established time frames for a child to reach developmental milestones. If a child fails to reach a developmental milestone within a normal amount of time, he or she is considered to have a development delay. The most common childhood development issues involve language and speech development, motor skills, social and emotional development and cognitive thinking. A child who has development issues might have problems in one or more of these categories. Any child who shows signs of development issues needs to see a medical professional for treatment; children do not just "grow out of" development issues.. The most common childhood...

Q:
hands sweaty and coordination off balance during the day and night
A: I would suggest you call your primary care provider and mention these issues. Sometimes people with prediabetes can also have hypoglycemia when they have fasted for a very long time, due to high circulating insulin levels. Hypoglycemia can cause your hands to feel sweaty. However, this would not happen all day and night. Most likely this is not a problem related to having prediabetes and the best solution is to have your physician evaluate your other issues and medication....

Q:
coordination of bcbs hmo insurance copay
A: Hi Shehnaz!
I am not real clear on the issue........it seems to me that you are saying that you had a policy with one employer then you resigned and now working for another employer with the same insurance company but a different plan under the new employer........and you are being told that your policy with the ex employer is to be used?
If this is what you are saying, it makes no sense...the only thing I can think of is that usually your policy ends at a certain date and perhaps your first policy was still in effect at the time of your husbands visit. Your ex employers insurance would be canceled since you do not work for them anymore so they would not take the liability of keeping you on their policy.
So perhaps call your insurance company to find out when the...

Q:
bahavior issues
A: Most peoples" brains are designed to notice and pay attention to eyes. Since many autistics are somewhat visually hypersensitive, this is amplified, resulting in eyes being either very distracting or actually painful (overloading). Autistics with mild visual hypersensitivity might avoid eye contact because it"s distracting, those with more sensitivity avoid eye contact because it"s too overloading for them. The tendency for some autistic people to look at things out of the corner of their eyes is also due to visual hypersensitivity.
There are also some autistics who don"t have an aversion to eye contact. Some of these people have normal eye contact, some willingly make eye contact but don"t coordinate it well socially (eg staring at someone, or alternately not looking at them) and some...

Q:
Don''t we adjectives hold issues?
A: Yes, we adjectives have issues, the difference between those who "hold issues" and those who don''t have issues is how we contract with those issues. Some society use their issues as an excuse, see me, feel sorry for me, my enthusiasm is so bad. Then nearby is those who work through those issues, use them to build strength and character and don''t ask the world to excuse them for their issues. Instead of be aware of sorry for me, it is look at me, I survived and will kick this world inthe facade! I too have be through hell, aweful, aweful circumstances in my go, I make no excuses, I swot, move on and use...
