A: I use basicly the Atkins or South Beach phase 2 food plan. Low carb that can be tailored to your body''s needs. Check each food for how it reacts for you. prepare the food, check glucose, eat the serving, then 90 minutes to 2 hours later check again. If it spikes more than you like, as in more than 50 points, eliminate that food from the plan or decrease the frequency or serving size. I eat mostly a serving of 3 oz of meat and a huge green salad with tomatos. Real dressing on that helps to prevent the hungries!!
