What Is Oak Extract?

A: Oak extract is a dietary supplement that is made using the bark of the white oak tree. In addition to preparation as an extract, the bark is sometimes powdered and sold as oak capsules. There are several ways to make oak extract, with some calling for pulverizing the bark and steeping the powder in hot water, while other recipes call for soaking small pieces of the bark in an alcohol base, allowing the nutrients to seep into the liquid. A number of vitamins and minerals are found in the bark used to produce oak extract. The bark contains a high amount of calcium, as well as an ample amount of manganese. Moderate amounts of selenium, iron, and sulfur are also present. Smaller amounts of vitamins C, A, and several of the B vitamins are also...

A: If it does it will be held back.. Cancer is a billion dollar industry. Kill cancer you will have mass unemployment... No one knows for sure - but this might - Try Vitamin C therapy. A few years ago a cancer specialist came out with a paper that said the best cancer/infection fighter found to date was Interferon. At the time it was $15,000 a gram. The paper also said that Interferon was a by-product of the natural breakdown of Vitamin C in your body. Shortly after that the FDA tried to make Vitamin C by prescription only. Guess why? Q:

What Is Urtica Urens?

A: Urtica urens is the botanical name for an annual herbaceous plant native to Europe and Asia and now naturalized in most of North America. It is related to the perennial common stinging nettle, but is much shorter and more compact. As such, it is known by various common names that distinguish it from its larger cousin, such as dwarf nettle, small nettle, and lesser nettle. What the plant comparatively lacks in stature it makes up for in stinging capacity since its leaves have a greater number of trichomes, or stinging hairs. This attribute may also mean that this species has more therapeutic value to offer since each needle-like injector stands ready to deliver a variety of pharmaceutical agents, namely serotonin,...

What is the most painful pain that you have ever felt, either emotional or physical?

A: for me, I`d have to say when I first dislocated a kneecap. Not pleasant at all. After hours in a hospital, a doctor surrounded by medical interns came in to see me. The doc said, "well here we have a pretty standard (insert medical jargon, meaning `dislocated kneecap` here). He then grabbed my leg and gave it a violent yank, apparently hoping to show his students how to pop a kneecap back... it didn`t work, and I howled in agony.. Doc finally got everything back in place by yank three or four, but by then people were poking their heads in from the hall to see who was making such loud shrieking noises.. Q:

Lately it seems that the rapid weather changes in the Northeast are causing my fibromyalgia symptoms to flare up much more than usual. At theis point I can barely stand the feeling of certain cloth against my skin and hate to put shoes on because they hurt (even though they do still fit). Anyone else out there having this problem?

A: I, too, live in the Northeast and suffer from Fibromyalgia. I have always found that any precipitation (rain, snow), as well as high humidy and/or barometric pressure shifts, greatly affect my condition as well. I actually can tell when it's going to rain, snow, etc., approximately 24-36 hours beforehand, without ever listening to the weather forecast:-) I live in the south and while our weather doesn''t get as cold as it does in the north, I still feel when the weather changes by as little as 8 degrees. Having been diagnosed with fibro about two years ago myself, I know what it''s like to have pain so bad that even your hair hurts - lol! I don''t know if it effects you but I also can not tolerate the heat any better than the cold and I...
