Q:
Im 16 years old help please?
A: i am not sure but what the hell were you having sex for at 16? stupid, stupid, stupid. if you do have stds or anything like that you have no one to blame but yourself. Hm...that''s the sign of a fever I think when everything gets sore and you think it''s a cold...yeah...but I dunno dude that sounds painful having them stick a swab in your penis hole...ouch! woah!!!!!!!!!!! This is why people as young as yourself should not participate in sex. They cannot deal with the possible results. You probably do have a cold. As you did use a condom, you probably do not have an STD. Get the HIV testing done for your own peace of mind. Try to grow up a little before proceeding with an active sex life. I had a friend who had AIDS. His doctor told him...

Q:
Could someone get in trouble, if they dont tell there partner about there std?
A: Technically, no. There is no law stating that you must tell a sexual partner if you have an STD. Thats why you should always be safe and wear protection. If the relationship becomes serious, and you no longer wish to use protection, get tested TOGETHER, every 6 months. But again, no legal action can be taken when someone "forgets" to tell you that they have HIV/AIDs, or Herpes, or any other STD. If someone has an STD and doesnt inform the person they are sexually active with... that is nothing short of irresponsible. I''m sure their partner will be mad as all hell. If you purposefully and knowingly transmit an STD, you could go to jail. It''s a felony, I believe, but I know it''s illegal. They were just talking about it on Michael Baisden radio s

Q:
What are the health risks for the long run if you have herpes and not treated for it?
A: There really is no treatment for herpes. They have topical ointments and pills that can lessen outbreaks, but once you have it ....thats it you always have it. The "blisters" or "sores" will typically crust over and heel on thier own in 2-3 weeks . If this is your first outbreak it may be the worst you have. It may be accomanied by fever sore muscles fluish feelings. Swollen glands may aslo be evident. As well as painful urination. A warm bath may help with the discomfort. But there are really no long term health threats if you choses not to go to the DR. Id go just to be sure its herpes. Topical creams can make it more bearable too. Such as Zovirax. NOTE: wether you are having an outbreak or not you

Q:
TB positive(+) should never get another skin test?
A: You''ve been misinformed. There''s no vaccine for TB. There''s meds that an exposed person can take to reduce the severity of symptons, similiar to what is given when exposed but not tested positive to AIDS. The reason why they would not get any more skin tests is because they will always test positive, so why waste the money testing? I am allergic to the skin test, so when I get my TB test I have to do the shot version, which comes up negative. If the person is allergic the result would be the same every time. There are other tests they can do. As far as the TB vaccinations I am not sure, you''d need to ask a doctor or look it up on a website by the Center for Disease Control. Its my understanding that once found positive with the skin...

Q:
What's staff infection and how do you get it?
A: Staphylococci are gram-positive, aerobic organisms. Staphylococcus aureus is the most pathogenic; it typically causes skin infections and sometimes pneumonia, endocarditis, and osteomyelitis. It commonly leads to abscess formation. Some strains elaborate toxins that cause gastroenteritis, scalded skin syndrome, and toxic shock syndrome. Diagnosis is by Gram stain and culture. Treatment is usually with penicillinase-resistant ?-lactams, but because antibiotic resistance is common, Vancomycin may be required. Some strains are resistant to all but the newest ribosome-targeted antibiotics (eg, Linezolid, quinupristin plus dalfopristin) or Daptomycin (a lipopeptide antibiotic).(Merck) Please see the web pages for more details and images on Staphylococcus areus, Methicillin resistant...

Q:
Could someone obtain contained by trouble, if they dont enlighten here partner nearly in that std?
A: It depends on the country and state where you live. In most of the US, you in actual fact can be held liable if you have any sort of serious contagious disease, which include STD''s , and on purpose expose somebody without recitation them. There are legal precidents for this, and yes, if you exposed your partner purposely, and did not inform them before, and they can prove it, you can bring in trouble. Its call reckless endangerment, and if they prove the valise, you can go to send down. They can also file a civil suit against you for personal damages and the costs of treatment. While I don''t imagine somebody would sue you over a cold sore, HIV and Herpes might get...

Q:
how efficient is condom?
A: It is important to understand that condoms are effective tools in two principal areas: contraception (birth control) and the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). As far as efficacy of condoms go, I am going to rate them as they would be rated when used properly and consistently. Otherwise, the statistics are just not viable. Rating a condom''s effectiveness against HIV/AIDS transmission, according to a published study by the NIH and the WHO, a condom reduces the risk of disease transmission by 80-95%. Rating a condom''s effectiveness against unwanted pregnancies (contraceptive use) varies a bit. If a man is properly using a perfect condom under perfect conditions, the efficacy rate can be as high as 98%.

Q:
My CD4 count
A: Response from Dr. Wohl Deep breaths, friend. Deep breaths. There are some more data that can help me understand your situation. If you CD4 cell count was less around 50 when you started HIV medications, it can be difficult to achieve a count in the hundreds despite a low viral load. This does not mean you are not able to enjoy the benefits of HIV therapy. A low viral load all by itself can help you remain healthy. In addition, your CD4 cell count may rise over time. how long have you been on therapy? I have seen slow increases over months to years in people starting with very low counts. Your CD4 cell count would place you in the ''AIDS'' category but this...

Q:
can A.I.D.S. ever find an effective cure ? Isn't this an insult to our scientists?
A: Well there is a cure abstinence..but no one is interested :-) It is definitely NOT an insult. Finding a cure for a disease is extremely hard especially A.I.D.S. because the virus continually manipulate its form so finding a single cure for it won''t help because it keeps on changing. Therefore, we don''t have a cure for it yet. You can read more about HIVs and AIDS online or in your public library. That way you can know more about it and understand that it''s not easy to find a cure to anything! No it is their job to find cures to diseases. coz they dont believe in alternative medicines and methods. says that acupuncture which existed from stone age is a scam. anything that they cant prove they say its a scam. As...
