Q:
Hey guys I need some advice, I am dealing with an HIV issue!?
A: Give her the same kind of support and love and respect you would anyone else. She will be dealing with the reality of her mistake and you have to let her know that it doesnt matter what she is dealing with, that you will always be by her side. I would suggest to her, to get some counseling to deal with any expected grief, denial and anger she will be feeling at this stage, as well as a doctor who can perscribe her some medication that will help with her immune system and the problems she will be faced with physically. Ultimately, she will need to feel your love for her as a friend hasn''t changed. Remember she is a person not a disease. This is from my own experience having lost a loved one to AIDS Help your friend find a good infectious disease doctor. Also check...

Q:
Is there any curable treatment for HIV/AIDS ?
A: Nope, once you get it it''s yours forever. there is treatment, but no cure. Nope, they found something that looked like a cure in a tree in the rainforest but when they went back for more samples they tree was cut down :( no No, just treatments to help your immune system fight the virus. HIV Infection and AIDS AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) is a disease that weakens the body''s ability to protect itself from getting sick. The virus that causes it is HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), which is found mainly in blood but occurs in other body fluids such as semen, vaginal secretions and breast milk. The main sources of infection are shared needles and syringes, unsafe sex, and mother-to-child transmission during pregnancy. people with HIV infections may...

Q:
how will oral thrush be treated if I have HIV or AIDS?
A: If you have HIV or AIDS, you will have a lowered immune system. This means that your body is less able to fight off illnesses and infections. HIV attacks the infection-fighting cells in your immune system which, over time, weakens and becomes unable to defend your body against bacteria, viruses and germs. Oral thrush is one type of a fungal infection called oral candida. If you have a lowered immune system, antifungal medicine is more effective for treating oral thrush than treatment applied to your skin (topical treatment). If you''ve already been diagnosed with HIV or AIDS, you should be under the care of a specialist who will keep an eye on your immune status. Your specialist will also arrange any treatment you need, such as antiviral medicine to...

Q:
What is Rapid HIV Testing?
A: Rapid HIV testing is considered a significant improvement in helping to detect, treat and hopefully prevent HIV. When the first HIV tests became available, one main issue involved with them was the time it took to get results. people who took the tests had to have a brief counseling session when they were tested, and then needed to return to the lab, clinic or doctor’s office where they received the test to hear the results. This could take several days, and there were a high percentage of people, over 10% who never returned to get their results. The medical community much desired creation of rapid HIV testing that would allow people to get test results on the same...

Q:
can HIV be cured ?
A: I bet you Magic Johnson has the cure. i read in "Advocate" that doctors had made a pill that can prevent HIV/AIDS. I dont think its a cure, but its helps to prevent it. I dont remember exactly what the pill was called, I look it up tomarrow and get back to you. no silly! HIV/ AIDS is NOT CURABLE , currently theres no cure in any branch of medicine, be it allopathic or homeopathic or any other alternative field of medicine. Yes u can treat which means basically HIV virus destroys the immune system of the body and the body becomes weak as it cannot protect itself from forgiegn substances or any injury, normally when a human body is faced with injuries or...

Q:
how common is it to be paranoid of hiv?
A: i guessed HIV is a really scary thing. u know coz when it attacks ur body, it might not be cured anymore. but worrying too much about it won''t help. i suggest that you get tests. you can also take ur partner. prevention is still the best cure. don''t worry about it too much! hope i helped! I would think most people would be paranoid if they have been sleeping around. at a guess I expect it it quite common and lets be honest if people felt the way you do there would be less HIV about practise SAFE SEX To worry about HIV is normal for singles who are dating and having sex. The best thing to do is to get to know a person, abstain from having sex for a while. The relationship should be based...

Q:
Is it possible to be Immune to aids? I was suck with HIV+ needle and tested 3 times negative.?
A: I heard that it can actually take 7 years for HIV to show up in tests. Immune, no. Lucky, yes. There no inmune people to HIV, u just got lucky. So better try to protect your self from guys like him.... There is no immunity to HIV. But, you don''t automatically get HIV everytime you come in contact with the virus. Your immune system may have prevented infection, there may not have been enough virus to infect you, etc. With that said - some people become infected the first time they come in contact with the virus. If you tested negative 3 times and have not put yourself at risk since the second test - then you are negative. people are...

Q:
Why is it difficult to develop a vaccine for HIV virus?
A: It came from Africa originally did''nt it? Any virus that attacks the immune system is normally a serious one. Luckily cold''s don''t affect us strong people either. HIV will be cured someday, but then sex will be more frequent and there will be too many babies... lol A shocking documentary that exposes HIV/AIDS as a deceptive and deadly scam. One of the most powerful video documentaries of our time boldly reveals the modern medical-industrial complex’s dire descent into utter corruption. This feature-length expose explains exactly how the 300-Billion-dollar AID$ fraud began, why HIV can NOT be the cause of AIDS, what the real causes could be, and who manipulates the public’s good intentions while poisoning hundreds...

Q:
Will there ever be medication for HIV/Aids?
A: There are meds to take for the symptoms of HIV/AIDS to help control the other problems that could come from the immune deficiencies. But other than taking something to prevent the disease, I think that I heard something on Good Morning America but it still has about to have clinical trials and then be approved by the FDA. And, that could take years. there is no cure and the people who say there is but its politics holding it back are full of **** and dont know anything about medicine. most of the drugs are generic anymore so the drug companies arent making any money off of treating people. viral diseases are very hard to treat because viruses are simple and too biochemically similar to humans to be able to exploit...
