Is here a difference between Standard Process purification program or Isagenix? Which is better?
A: I have never hear of the Standard Process purification program. Isagenix is an excellant cleanse out there right immediately. For more information on Isagenix go to links on bottom of page. A: Water purification tablets kill of bugs, bacteria and paracitic worms but they don't filter out dirt, metals or solids. They are ok to use wirh spring,pond or well water where the sediment has been trapped or sunk to the bottom....

Indoor Pool Water purification Question.?
A: You will pretty much operate an indoor pool exactly as you would an outdoor pool (but, like you said, without the hassle of debris). You will still want to use the standard pool chemicals (chlorine, etc.) If you are going to have on baby oil when you get into the pool, you will probably want to add a super shimmer product to the pool. This coagulates oils from the skin and helps the filter pick them up. If you want maximum filter power, you will want to consider Diatomaceous Earth or DE Filters. While sand filters and cartridge filters filter at about 40 microns, DE filters filter down to 5 microns. You can buy diatomaceous earth from your pool store and add it to your sand filter to improve its performance, but I would not recommend charcoal. DE is fairly inexpensive so I would just buy...

A: One of the best ''cleaners'' is a mobile evaporative cooler ... the kind that sucks air through wet pads. It will trap the dust in the pads, and they can be washed or replaced. Kenmore and Honeywell both make a good product. Make sure the air cleaner is a HEPA cleaner, not ''hepa-like''. Clean or change the cleaner filters regularly, and change your A/C-heating duct filters at least monthly. Thanks for the recommendations. Is the reverse osmosis a better technique than uv based water purification when you have to treat hard ground water?
A: I retired from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality 4 years ago and now work for Southwest Engineers. We specialize in treating community water for public supplies. We design and oversee construction of water and wastewater plants. RO removes molecular size particles that normally are responsible for hard water. Water that has calcium carbonate and other minerals such as iron that make water hard. UV does not remove anything. It does inactivate pathogens that make them harmless to ingest. The RO will remove particles that can block the UV rays. If the water is cloudy, then it may be a good idea to pretreat the water with direct filtration or RO.
