Testicle Pain (shrinkage)

A: Obviously, you need to see a urologist for a definitive opinion.  There is no known way to reverse true testicular shrinkage.  The real issue is: is there good blood flow to the testicle, is it making adequate sperm, is it making adequate testosterone and what can be done to minimize or eliminate the pain.  This problem may or may not have anything to do with your erection issues.  The urologist should be able to answer alll these questions for you....

Q:

testicular Lump,

A: Varicoceles are fixable and can cause pain if they are large.  They are most common on the left side.  The surgery to fix them is called a microscopic varicocelectomy.  We go and tie off the veins under a microscope and the varicocele is gone.  It should not effect erections or libido though so I do not know why you are haviong problems with that. Youneed to have a testosterone and LH, FSH check as well as a semen analysis  to make sure the varicocele is not making the sperm count low....
