You may be more prone but are not garenteed. i dont think so because skin cancer is caused by how much sun light you are exposed to thats why its bad to go get a tan in the sun or even a tanning salon If someone in your family had it, you are more prone to get it. I would go to the doctor and have him check your spots and moles yearly. My friend has melanoma run in her family, and she goes yearly.
