Q:
im 37 weeks and having bad upper back pain
A: I am 35 weeks and also having upper back pain at times. I have found that if I sit in a hard chair (like a kitchen chair) or a chair without back support for too long, that''s when it starts. Also, if I''m sitting in one direction but focusing my attention to one side or the other, that causes it. I think it is just because of the extra weight I''m carrying and it pulls on my spine. Pay attention to how and where you are sitting and try not to twist too much. The only thing that helps it for me is a good night''s sleep. I was 40 weeks pregnant with severe upper right back pain for 5 days. I went to my Dr. appointment...

Q:
upper back pain and shortness of breath
A: This is a tough one since you have not been evaluted for spinal problems. Spinal problems are not always caused from injury or serious injury. Sounds like you may have some muscle type pain. Muscle pain alone can be extremely painful & last a long period of time. Have to tried ice or moist heat? They can really be helpful & ice has been one of my life savers. At times I believe the relief the two can provide is underestimated. Does it hurt during inhalation, exhalation or both? I do have problems with painful breathing & with inhalation, I cant get enough air in when I inhale, like my lungs wont expand & this all started with my spinal problems. I dont think its as common as other...

Q:
Right upper back pain and a headache?
A: 1. respiratory problems are kind of serious. It sounds like you pulled a muscle. If it were me and if there was no injury I could think of that caused it (ie: you bruised your back, it''s sore from sports) I would wait a few days and see what happened. BUT it''s affecting your breathing, and that''s something you don''t mess around with. I''d get it checked. I''ve heard of back pains causing headaches before. I think if you eliminated the pain the headaches would go away, too. 2. Pinched muscles will cause that and pinched muscles in your back can be putting pressure on the nerves going to the lungs. Here is how to release all the muscles involved: For your neck:...

Q:
how do i get rid of upper back pain?
A: 1. You have pinched back muscles giving you those pains. The back muscles often send the pains around the body on the nerves to be pains in the rib, chest or heart areas. Then as the body shifts some the pain will be focused more in the back. To get rid of the pains you have to free up your back muscles and here''s how to free them up: back: (do from a sitting position) Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front...

Q:
mid to upper back pain when I am running?
A: 1. not a slipped disc probably a stitch in the plurer the sack that encases lungs and organs to buffer against ribs or might have strained an intercostal muscle the muscles between each rib do plenty of warm ups before a run and warm downs after a run and enquire at a chiropractor for massage of muscles and bones around rib cage & back areas 2. How old are you? Have you told all this to your doctor? How is your fluid intake? Are you doing light warm ups before you stretch? So many possiblities for solutions here. Really need to provide more information. 3. If you actually think it is a slipped disk, then for goodness sakes STOP running!!!! Get to a chiropractor immediately. You may simply need a lower back adjustment. Your

Q:
im having upper back pain and my chest feels heavy and sore troat what could it be?
A: It is certainly possible that you are coughing so hard that you are getting some muscle soreness from that. You sound like you are in need of urgent evaluation. You may have asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, chronic lung disease or other problems. You would benefit from a thorough history, a good exam, probably a chest x ray, possibly a measure of your blood oxygenation, and some appropriate treatment which may include inhalers, and antibiotics. The sooner you see your doctor, the sooner you will get the help you need to feel better. Be sure to tell the doctor if you have been short of breath, have fevers, are a smoker, have any chronic conditions, and have been using any medications....

Q:
Why do I have upper back pain, especially deep in the ribs muscles? I work on a
A: How long have you had that job? If you just started working in those conditions then your back may be having trouble adjusting to it. If you have worked in that environment for a long time then it could be messing up your spine slowly and painfully. The cause of your pain could be other things as well. It could be gas trapped up behind your ribs. That's always very painfull. Or it could be the linings of your lungs (I forget the name) getting dry and rubbing against each other causing sharp pain. Or it could be heart trouble! Whatever it is you should see a doctor about it, especially if it keeps hurting. You should probably buy a new office chair that will...
