So be careful with this med as it can also cause seizures if you take to much... Dave mpvt is correct again. I keep telling people how smart he is. I agree with his comment. You need a muscle relaxer for muscle spasms. I take valium for them also. As far as chronic pain, depends on how long you have had it and
