Q:

Is that a cold sore?

A: I am not a doctor. A cold sore is an outward manifestation of the herpes simplex virus type one virus; that''s the closest I can come to giving you the scientific name for a cold sore. The most common way to get herpes simplex is to kiss someone who has a cold sore. Unfortunately, once you have herpes simplex, you will never get rid of it. However, you can treat cold sores with topical antiviral medications (Abreva or a prescription antiviral.) You can also take an oral antiviral medication which can reduce the amount of herpes simplex in your body, making it less likely that you''ll get an outbreak and reducing the chance that you''ll pass the virus to others.

If your husband has cheated on you again, he may or may not admit it, of course, but even if he did, this may not have been directly responsible for your cold sore. There is a much bigger question here, and it''s one that only you can answer for yourself. If your husband cheats on you, do you still want him in your life, and why or why not. A: That is God trying to tell you to not be such a sl ut No i dont know. That sucks. You can buy like a numbing thing from a drugstore that is supposed to shrink them. They make some anti herpes medicine that can control future outbreaks. I would suggest going to the doctor and ask to be put on it. Unfortunately you will carry that herpes virus for life and you will have more outbreaks. Once you have a cold sore, you just need to let it run its course. It will go away until next time. Try abreva.... Try Lysine. It''s a dietary supplement and you can find it at any drug store or walmart, etc. My daughter got terrible cold sores when she was younger and that took care of it in a matter of days.
