Q:

I have had excruciating lower back pain for years now. Can you help me get lower back pain relief?

A: 1. See a specialist. Or for an alternative, see a chinese physician. Traditional chinese medicine techniques works really well in these type of problem. Oh yeah...one more thing, body/back massage is an essence in carrying out daily activities. It could prevent and cure any aches. 2. Ok, if you''re not pregnant it may be a pulled disk or torn muscles in the buttock region or back. Talk to your chiropractor about sciatica. 3. hey my cousin has the same thing, she has chronic back pains her lower back down to her ass and thighs ankle etc hurts major esp at night bedtime. her family doctor said its her disc or something and told her to loose...

Q:

upper back pain-caused by lower back pain?

A: It could be referred pain from your lower back, or it could be a whole new problem. The only way to really tell is to see a doctor. It might help you to get some physical therapy. A good physical therapist can teach you exercises specific to your problem. Swimming is good exercise, but it may not be the best for your particular issues. Being a student can be painful in and of itself, of course. It can be very stressful, which can add to your pain, and those desks are utterly horrible for those with back problems. Does it help to stand up and move around? Can you ask your professors if it would be okay if you sat in the back so you

Q:

what can I do for constant excruciating lower back pain?

A: 1. Pain that shoots down your leg as you describe may be the sciatic nerve being pinched in some way. Not a lot the ER can do, but they can help with the pain. In my opinion, it would definitely be worth the trip!!! Feel better! Let us know what they say. Me 2. go to the emergency room but i think that your age, and health factors are causing it. I think its arthritis caused by a stiff back, weak core and lack of daily exercise. If the docs give you meds, take them but start doing ab exercise and lower back exercises daily. For example, do 2-3 sets of 15-20 situps, then crunches, then russian twists, and finally back extensions..doing this...

Q:

How long will lower back pain last?

A: back pain is a thing in it on league and until you experience it, you do not know what others are really talking about. If it is only muscle damage, it will hurt until it heals as with any other deep bruising or trauma. First get checked by a very good doctor you trust. And one thing you should know tissue damage does not show up on normal x-rays. Should the pain begin to go down our either or both of your legs, go to a neurosurgeon or ask your doctor for an MRI to determine the possibility of nerve trauma. In the meantime use ibuprofen and ice to keep swelling down and remember to always lift with your legs not your back. Don''t go to quacks, they will make it worse. You need to see a dr

Q:

what could cause lower back pain to be excruciating immediately upon waking up in the morning, subsiding with ibuprofen and heat treatment later on?

A: Hi Kim, I get the same thing. It''s always good to see a chiropractor because they are the back experts. Ibuprofen doesn''t mask pain. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory. When moving and taking a hot shower you are getting blood to the area allowing the cartilage to get blood moving into the area. The effectiveness of the anti-inflammatory may be due to the movement of fluid filled with pro-inflammatory chemicals being pulled out of the area and exchanged by fluid filled with anti-inflammatory chemicals. The cause could be any fold. It could be due to a muscular imbalance. That''s my main cause. My leg muscles are so strong they pull on my...

Q:

lower back pain???

A: Do you have pain that radiates down one of your cheeks and into your leg? If so, you probably have sciatica, which is: "low back pain and/or leg pain that usually travels down the large sciatic nerve, from the lower back down the back of each leg, generally referred to as sciatica and is fairly common. This pain can be caused when a nerve root in the lower spine that helps form the sciatic nerve is pinched or irritated." You would need to see a doctor for diagnosis. It can be controlled through strengthening exercises. '' http://www.spine-health.com/topics/cd/d_......
Q:

what is the best or quickest way to fix lower back pain?

A: 1. To get relief follow the undermentioned routine. Do not sleep for at least 3 hours after a meal. This is most important. If you are a sports person / or work out regularly - do not drink water within 2 hours after a workout. Also you should not drink water within 30 minutes before starting workout, 1. First 2 days Drink 2 glasses of water before each meal. So total should be 6 glasses a day. Stop all other liquids. For example if you take lunch at 2.00 pm, take 1 glass each at 1.00 and 1.30 pm. Some deviations from suggested times are ok. Do not drink water after 7 PM. 2. Next 2 days Reduce water intake to 3 glasses day. 1 Glass before each meal. 3. Next 4 days Reduce water intake to 1 glass day. 4. Next Repeat 2 and 3 again and again. After 1 month repeat 1,2and 3. 2. how...

Q:

lower back pain before a bowel movement

A: I actually have this problem, but I don''t know what it is caused by. I once told my neurosurgeon that I did not know the cause, but that I was having this really bad back pain and it was definately at the same time that I either had bad gas or a BM. I asked her if that made since and she smiled and shook her head no. I told her that I knew it sounded odd, but the 2 things always went together hand in hand. I have never brought it up again, and just knew myself that the 2 had a connection somehow. Let me know if you learn anything. I often experience this as well. I have always contributed it to the fact that inflammation is present so sorry to be blunt but when you push you are...

Q:

what can cause this type of pain and symptoms, what should I do?

A: 1. Awww, that sounds horrible! :( I''m so sorry this is happening to you. I hope you can find a solution to make it go away ^^ I recommend tylenol 3. It may make you a little sleepy, but it does take away the pain somewhat. Doctors give it to patients after surgery sometimes :) Your case sounds pretty severe, so even if the ER''s are bad and slow, it''s better than nothing. They can probably still give you something to ease the pain or even completely fix it. Even stop in at a medical clinic if you have to. If the pain is really intollerabe, then you should drive to another city to see a doctor who can help you out. I''m not sure what you have, I''ve never heard of someting like that until now, so I''m sorry I
