Q:
what''s the difference between a spider bite and a bed bug bite?
A: One of the simplest ways to determine the difference between spider bites and bed bug bites is that a spider bite will typically only have one bite or location on the body as opposed to bed bug bites where there will be many bites in clusters. Spider bites are difficult to diagnose, as the actual “bite” may be impossible to see. Often spider bites are diagnosed by their symptoms, rather than an actual, visible local bite. The symptoms of most spider bites areredness, swelling, itching and pain.

I fell asleep on a friends couch and woke up the next morning with bug bites allover my body.. she has 2 cats.. whatdoes flea bites look like compared to bedbug bits?? it itches real bad, and bumps
A: There is practically no difference in the rash caused by bed bug bite or flea bite. By examination it is notpossible to differentiate between the two. More important is to hav a good bath followed by application of icecompresses on the sore areas. If itching is too severe you can an anti-histaminic like cetrizine for the same. This should help you. Q:
Do I have Shingles or bed bug bites?
A: Let me ask one question first, okay? Have you ever had chickenpox? I am not saying this is chickenpox, but you don''t typically get shingles unless you have had chickenpox as a child. Yes, I have had chickenpox, and I did also see that was one of the precursers leading to shingles in older adults who may have a weakened immune system or people facing a lot of stress. I have had chickenpox, but I am only 28 right now, am a very healthy person (diet and exercise), am in very good health, but have been experiencing a lot of stress lately. Ryan Is this that you are experiencing VERY painful? The only real pain I am feeling is from the numerous bites that are in my armpits. Q:
does lyme disease necessarily look like a bulls eye? Or can there just be redness almost the size of a dime around the "bite" which is very itchy. Both my husband and I walked some wooded land we were considering purchasing out of state and the bites and rashes appeared a day or so after. We stayed in a motel that had a foam mattress. We each have about 4 or 5 of these bites on our legs and thighs and are puzzled as to what they may be. They have lasted two weeks and the redness is fading and itching is now subsiding. My husband thinks they could have been bed bug bites from the motel because we saw no ticks on us and he doesn''t think tick bites are itchy? Can you identify what might have caused these bites?
A: Hi There, earthling is right about that. There are atypical presentations of rashes and it pays to be cautious rather than carefree when it comes to Lyme. Definitely a disease that is not worth trifling with. K.L. Q:
My skin is itchy and leaves also an itchy swelling , but could it be bed bugs ..?
A: eczema maybe allergy It might be pioson ivy. I had that stuff all last week. It itched and itched and left what appeared to be huge ant or mosquito bites. I would recommend benadryl and either a caladryl or calamine lotion to keep it from itching so it doesnt spread. bedbugs are very small... still you should be able to see something. Usually, it would look like tiny bite marks, so they may not be the culprit. It is the time of year where people are using sunscreen... sometimes that causes an itchy rash, so you may be correct in thinking it is something else - even allergies. you need to go to the doctor and they will check it out and see
