Q:
Does anyone have any idea why I wake up sore?
A: This actually could be a serious medical condition, you should make an appointment to see a doctor soon! Could be your mattress, or you are sleeping in a funny position. Do you remember your dreams? You may be moving around a lot in your sleep when you''re dreaming. you might be sleeping on the body parts wrong.....so try sleeping in a different way it might have to do with what you do in the day even if you feel fine after it really effects during sleep. but if you dont do anything out of the ordinary then it might be medical? It could be a lot of things... the way you sleep, your mattress, the flu? You should talk to your doctor to be sure. Could be "growing pains". You don''t give your age, but if a teenager, it could be. Generally, anything that...

Q:
grandson has sores on his leg as been there for a month. I have put everything on it.Can not get rid of it.Please help
A: It is not really clear how your grandson developed the sores on his leg, and you have not mentioned exactly what remedies you have tried either. Sometimes we do get a small injury on our leg which does not heal completely; that infected area can turn into a leg sore which is quite painful and may also cause a lot of itching. sores also often occur when there is prolonged pressure due to inadequate supply of blood. Normally, when a sore develops, the centre of the wound is moist and the color is light as well. It is advisable that you have a doctor examine your grandson’s legs to determine why these sores keep appearing. The

Q:
what can this be? sore throat?
A: take some night Quill or day Quill this should help the throat and nose so you can sleep better It could be mono which packs a very mean sore throat. Are you also tired? When I had mono I was exhausted all the time. Another thing making the rounds this year is Whooping Cough. Either way a visit to the doctor sounds necessary. You should take yoursself to a physician and get checked up now. You may have a serious bout of the flu. Get it checked. it looks like you have a cold..... you should wrap up in a blanket and turn on the heater. cold medicine doesnt cure it but it covers up the symptoms try Tylenol or Advil any kind of Ibuprofen (Aspirin) drink plenty of fluids preferably water and find a source of protein some kind of meat or poultry It''s hard to say. If you...

Q:
Waking up with mildly sore throat?
A: I had that a few months ago, very annoying. I found drinking tea with honey before bed helped. Also, drinking more water throughout the day helped. Same thing happened to me. My doctor recommended a humidifier. It''s because of the bacteria in the air that you inhale throughout the night. Could be all sorts of problems...whatever it is going on your throat is obviously becoming irritated throughout the night. Perhaps your furnace needs a filter change, you could have a little bit of sleep apnea going on, or you might just need to add a steam humidifier to your room at night. Also you could try using some breath right strips on your nose. make sure u aint gittin drunk the night before and...

Q:
Any 1 here ever have a broken tale bone? what did it look like, Brused, swollen, etc?
A: I am so glad your dad has you and your mom. A broken tailbone hurts to sit or lay down and there really isn''t a "fix" for it unless it''s a major break. Rest is all that is prescribed. As for your dad''s case - if you are 100% sure that he has not fallen which is the typical means for breaking your tailbone, then I would definately put in a call to your dad''s doc. I do not think he could break his by simply laying in bed unless he has severe osteoporosis, but even that is unlikely. He will need an xray (possibly an MRI or CT) to determine what is going on. I did not have a bruise or swelling when I broke mine from a fall right on...

Q:
what is the difference between cold and flu?
A: only women get colds. well a cold is a little cough and bunged up nose but a flu is vomiting allll over the place and a horrible cough and you can bearly breathe The £50 note test always works for me...If you are in bed feeling as if you have the flu, imagine that there is a £50 pound note on your bedroom floor. If you could get up to get it,then you have a common cold,if you could not get up to get it ,then you have flu. They''re actually totally different illnesses, though we tend to describe a bad cold as flu. If you had the flu, you''d know about it with a vengeance women get colds, men get flu. No, sorry, change that, men get life-threatening, take-to-my-bed-
