A: I wake with migraine early in the morning. Usually anytime from 1am to 3am so it''s a bit different from you. But I thought I''d pass on something I learned only recently. Sleep apnea can cause waking with migraine. I had been told this, but had dismissed it even though I suspected I did have sleep apnea.
Finally, out of desperation I went off to see a sleep specialist and was tested overnight in hospital for sleep apnea and it was found that I had mild sleep apnea in my light sleep which progressed to moderate to severe in deep sleep. I had to have another overnight stay in hospital to be tested to see

A: Temporal lobe seizures can be complex partials, but cp''s can also come from other lobes... Has your doctor checked into syncope as a cause for your seizures? have you looked that up? Partials can do weird things and those feelings sure sound seizurey...glad you have a good neuro. My son also has most of his seizures in sleep. yeah I''ve been lucky to have all my seizures in my sleep. About a year and a half ago I went on a cruise with my family and I don''t know why but I had two seizures awake. I think the boat caused my equilbrium to be all wacked up. Who knows.

A: Yes. Still unknown cause but I have had them since I was 5 and im now 18. I get migraines too. Topamax and solpadol with ibuprofen help a bit, but not much. i had daily headaches and magraines that sent me to the er until i started taking topamax and inderal about 15 to 18 years ago. i started on low doses and now i''m on 300mg of topamax and 160 mg of inderal daily and i can truly say that maybe i''ll get a hint of a headache if things get really stressful around me but for the most part i haven''t had a migraine in 5 years. hope this has...

A: you are definitely not alone. I too suffer from Chronic Daily headaches with the added bonus of Migraines. Much like your situation, I wake up with the pain and go to sleep with it. A: Here are a few tricks that I have found have worked for myself and friends.... - Melatonin (it is a natural supplement and you can find it at almost any natural/suppliments store and at Wal Mart/ Wal Greens and so forth.
