Q:
Has anyone ever taken 'Non-drowsy' hayfever tablets that did actually make you feel drowsy?
A: Yes countless times, but I suppose it''ll vary from person to person my sister and I take the same hayfever tablets, they make me drowsy, but not her. All the time. I have no control...I just want to sleep. No, but the other day I took two sleeping tablets because I thought they were hayfever tablets i was nodding off all day and couldn''t understand it! I didn''t have my contact lenses in! I know this doesn''t answer your question but I thought it was funny! Funny that u shud ask that! Yesterday i took some, and i felt like i was going fall asleep while walking! I felt awful. Needless to say i havent takent hem today! I always tried those on my days off. I always ended up sleeping those days away! The non-drowsy ones put me to sleep like the regular ones. :0 the best thing to do is take...

Q:
Hayfever help?
A: No if it is not giving you side effects then carry on. I know what its like, have been getting it for years and I would take literally anything to stop it. Try stinging Nettle tablets u can buy them from holland and barratt sounds weird i know but it works You might need a different type of allergy pill. Some good non-drowsy ones are Aerius and Reactin. You might want to ask your doctor about taking Singulair together with your allergy pill. It''s originally for asthma patients but my doctor prescribed it for my allergies and it worked great. If your symptoms are really severe, you might want to try something like Benadryl instead. But it can make you very drowsy so I''d take it later in the evening. You might also want to check with a pharmacist for eye Drops for your itchy eyes. There...

Q:
How do you get rid of an itchy roof of mouth?? It's Hayfever related!!?
A: to get rid of itches.. i scratch them.. wonderful temporary relief. I would try some over the counter drugs for hayfever. Yeah it could be. Try clarinex. could be, sounds like allergies benedryl is god in my world. Eat triscuit crackers or shredded wheat!! I myself have allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever. I a currently taking Allegra. It worked better that Claritin, and Benadryl for me. I am also taking a nasal spray called NasacortAQ. Those two things combined really handle my allergies. What you might consider doing is checking with your allergy doctor and they might be able to give you a Cortisone shot. That is pretty much guaranteed to end with your problems for a while. But watch out, sometimes the cortizone is found to gain weight in several persons. So consult the doctor....

Q:
Hayfever!
A: sympathies tigwig. I think it''s gonna be a BAD hayfever season cos my eys are drivign me mad! Out of all the over counter pills the only one thatseems to work for me is anything that contains loratidine / desloratidine...the others just don''t do a hting. However, if that doesn''t work I think there is something called maxalon but that is available only on prescription as far as i know. It''s horrible isn''t it? I hate the itchy eyes particularly and I never wear eye make-up as it just gets rubbed off! The only one that works for me is Zirtek. I have tried supermarket own brands and Clarityn and they are useless but I think everyone is different so you need to try until you find one which suits you. Do you use beconase nasal spray - I find that useful sometimes and eye drops are...

Q:
HAYFEVER.........My Youngest Son (15) is the only one in the family to suffer with this and when I say he?
A: I feel sooooo sorry for him as I , too, suffer really badly from it. My actual allergy is NOT grass but from tree pollen, flowers, blossom and leaves - hence why, Autumn is just as bad for me.
I get a certain degree of relief from Flixonase Nose spray and Cetrizine both on prescription. I know the blossom looks beautiful but I hate it ! Even when travelling past fields of yellow rape seed in a bus/car etc, my eyes itch.
Afro's right about the honey but it must be produced in the area you live to be most effective - and I spoon it on cereal & ice cream and spread on toast and it certainly helps...

Q:
Hayfever, BACK TO THE FUTURE!
A: Patsy, I live in Denver and this has been the driest spring we''ve had in atleast 10 years. All the metro cities and suburbs have imposed lawnwatering restrictions cause the draught is so bad. Anyway, the news hassaid that because it is so extraordinarily dry that allergies are way worsethan ususal too. That could be what''s going on and it wouldn''t haveanything to do with your surgery. You might call the Nevada HealthDepartment and see if they have any info for you. I have had just the opposite reaction after the surgery. I am six monthspost-op and I noticed almost immediately that I wasn''t having nearly asmany sinus or allergy problems as before surgery. I was stunned but what agreat, unexpected side-effect of the surgery.I hope you find the source of your hay fever and get it under...

Q:
What''s the best trick to encounter a sore throat & runny muzzle?
A: Robotusin or NyQuil Daytime airborne and green tea works wonders!lots of rest and tea.resourcefully for the throat, try tea with honey =]... for the trunk use gentle tisuesTry "Reactine." It works resembling the pixey in nymph dust (if that even works!)Drink lots of calcium enriched red juice, and sleep alot! And save sucking on cough drops. feel Better!Zinc lozenges work great for sore throats. They can be really chalky and nice of hard to suck on too plentiful, but they work on the throat and also, research has shown that zinc decrease the time that a person have a cold. The runny nose, though, I guess you just own to deal beside and appreciate that "bad stuff" is coming out of your system beside the mucus out of your nose.Curl up contained by a blankey with my bear...

Q:
Please. Can you help me? Allergies?
A: If you have allergies then yes being outside can make it worse. Are you taking an inhaler for allergies or for asthma? Why can''t you go to the doctor or hospital? The hospital can not deny you and will give you what you need. If your worried about the bill once you receive it contact their billing department and ask about the income form that can either fully pay the bill or drastically lower the bill for you. You send it in with your income and they make a decision on how much if anything you will owe. Fresh air can do you good depending on the allergies. I was the same way. I use to be so bad that I have a nebulizer machine. anyway my doc put me on the hightest dose of advar 2x a day, singular, and nazonex. that worked. I no longer need to use my machine. OH did I mention that before I...
